Donal and Charlie got married at Clissold House on 1 August, went home for drinks, then ended up at Morito on Hackney Road for dinner and dancing.

By the end of the ceremony there were four couples in the room whose weddings I’d photographed, including the couple actually getting married. A personal record.

It was lovely seeing that many familiar faces—the brides and grooms, the friends and families, the crowd. A little alarming how many of them already knew what I was like, of course, but they hid it well.

I was particularly happy with these photographs.

Even happier given I’d swayed home late after seeing The Flaming Lips and Nick Cave at Preston Park in Brighton.
