Emilie and Matt married at St Peter’s Church in St Peter’s Square, then crossed to The Organ Factory for the reception. Matt’s grandfather was the priest at St Peter’s, so even that part of the day was a family affair.
I used to live less than four minutes away on Hackney Road. It was lovely being back, seeing what had changed and finding the old favourites along Columbia Road.
Drinks in the square, dinner in the main hall, then dancing. The building has plenty of character. So did the people in it.
