Whitstable Wedding Photographer

You have to figure you’re doing something right when another documentary wedding photographer asks you to photograph their wedding.  And so on that basis both Steven and I must be doing right because he photographed my wedding day back and I got to return the favour.  My wife and I loved the photos Steven took for us so the benchmark was set high.  Now obviously at every single wedding you photograph you set out to do your best work yet.  But with this one I had the added responsibility of doing justice to the wonderful set of images we’d been given of our own day.  Luckily, all the ingredients were there: a beautiful, intimate Beacon House wedding by the sea in Whitstable, Kent; a bright day with soft, intermittent, cloud cover, a striking bride, three beautiful children of their own and a beardy, baby-faced ragamuffin of a groom.  Added to that it was low key, relaxed, friendly, intimate and just an absolute delight to shoot from start to finish.  In fact the only problem has been keeping the numbers down.  For a small wedding this has turned into a pretty big blog...
